When there are 10 different heads from different departments thinking about what your ads or website should look like, you need a common language to share within the team. It saves a lot of miscommunication and keeps everyone on same page. And that’s the reason I started working on “Persuasive Design Patterns”. A library of design patterns that growth teams of all sizes can use as a common language to communicate their ideas. So that the focus is more on the ideas and less on whose idea it is.
What I did above is a simple structure used in storytelling.
Establish the context
Communicate the conclusion (or solution)
And the Design Pattern # 15 : “2 Slide Story” is exactly about that. A “2 Slide Story” is what it sounds like. A story communicated in 2 simple slides in a single frame. The first slide establishes the context. And second slide gives out the conclusion or solution.
[Why Use It?]
If you want to establish the context and conclusion of your story in a single frame, use
2 Slide Story Design Pattern
Slide 1 : Set Context
Slide 2 : Give Conclusion
For REAL WORLD EXAMPLES, check the slides below.
[When should you use it?]
Use this design pattern when your solution or idea is not as powerful without the context in which it exists.
Or the context enhances the need for your product or solution.

Slide 2 : Give Conclusion
